No spheres of our lives receive more urgent, more anxious, more consuming energy than personal relationships. Depth pscyhology tells us that we can achieve no better relationships with others than we have evolved with ourselves, yet so many of our energies are invested in trying to fix the outer world, or fix each other. This conversation with two Jungian analysts will focus on "the inner marriage," a metaphor which emodies our relationship to ourselves. The level of development which that relationship attains is tied to all our outer relationships, not just that described as external marriage. This program invites reflection on all our relationships, and what role we have in their quality.

This recording was originally made to a cassette, so while the lecture is audible, it is not of the best quality.
