The Dance, Battle and Love between Ego and Self

Explore Jung's insight that the psyche contains two distinct centers.  The ego is the center of consciousness, while the Self is paradoxically the center and the circumference of the entire psyche.  Over the course of our lives, these dual centers enact a duel - the first half of life involves constructing the ego, and the second half involves taking it apart.  In this class, we focus on the development of ego structure and the dynamic nature of the Self.

4 classes, instant access by MP3 download, recorded in the fall of 2009.
