Calling all artists, writers, and creative enthusiasts! Join us for Show and Tell. This is a community event for those who want to showcase their work and connect with others in a fun and judgement-free space. Whether you are a seasoned professional or brand new hobbyist, you are welcome. We gather to build community through our art by sharing our work and our process with each other. This event combines guided group discussions on the creative process with show-and-tell style displays from participants. Whether you need a mic or an open platform, this is the chance to put yourself out there with intention in a supportive community.

Kiara Carter has been an artist and educator for over 10 years. She has taught workshops and classes throughout Houston and Galveston with Iconoclast Artists and Writers In The Schools. She has facilitated community circles and creative circles for a variety of groups including We Practice Life. She graduated from the University of Houston with a BA in Creative Writing and a focus in Poetry. As an artist, she knows that creativity cannot happen without risk and that can be intimidating. But when we create in a safe and play-filled environment, some of our greatest works emerge.
