Discover the power of short-form memoir to process life experiences, spark creativity, and express truth with honesty, clarity, and emotion.
Want to write about your life but aren’t sure where (or how) to begin? Long-form memoirs can feel overwhelming — so why not start small? In this course, we’ll explore the power of short, reflective writing as a way to process, explore, and celebrate your life experiences.
Using published examples as inspiration, we’ll experiment with micro-memoirs, vignettes, drabbles (100-word stories), and other brief, expressive forms. These short bursts of writing allow space for honesty, creativity, and insight — even in just a few lines.
Whether you’re seeking personal clarity, emotional release, or simply a more playful way into writing, this class will help you reconnect with your voice and give you renewed creative energy for the year ahead.
