Carla Lyles | Saturday, Feb 7 | 11:30 - 1:30p CT | max attendees 25 | Step inward through the combined languages of music, art, writing, and crafting a personalized journal that fosters reflection, self-expression, and community connection.

Description

Jazz and Journaling is a creative reflection workshop that blends music, art, and writing to invite participants inward. Guided by a curated jazz playlist, guests craft their own journal covers using fabrics and textures chosen by intuition, then engage in writing prompts to explore memory, imagination, and emotion. The tactile act of art-making mirrors the inner landscape, while journaling offers space for self-expression and insight. Gentle jazz sets the tone for mindfulness and presence. The session concludes with an optional sharing circle that emphasizes connection over performance. No experience is needed—materials are provided. Each participant leaves with a handmade journal and a deeper sense of reflection, creativity, and community.
