Tend to self and mend the social fabric through curiosity, creativity, and compassion.

Description

Using a learning circle structure, we will focus on the application of the concepts and theories that we have learned in various Jung Center programs, in the books that we’ve read, and through other programs we’ve attended. We will set clear intentions on how to apply lessons from both our studies and what we are learning from our lived experiences. By tending to ourselves and our growth and setting specific intentions to apply what we are learning in daily life, we are able to show up with more compassion and creativity. Each time we show up in this way, we help to mend our threads in the social fabric.

The circle structure allows space for inner reflection and community connection. We use Healing Circles Agreements and processes to create a safe container for exploration and expression.

Brooke Summers-Perry is the Director of Curriculum and MacMillan Institute Associate at The Jung Center. She facilitates communication and creative programs that allow participants to authentically integrate head, heart, and action. Using accessible practices, prompts, and facilitated conversations, she makes safe space for exploration, expression, and the harvesting of insights that shift patterns and catalyze growth and transformation. She holds degrees in psychology and architecture and a certification as a spiritual director. She and her son, Chase Summers-Perry, are the co-founders of We Practice Life, LLP.

This program is being offered IN-PERSON only, and will NOT be recorded.

All times are CT. Please contact onlinelearning@junghouston.org with any questions.
