Join us as we move beyond talking about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s Letter From Birmingham Jail to reading and interacting with it.

Description

In this two hour program, individuals will read pre-assigned portions of Dr Martin Luther King Jr’s Letter from Birmingham Jail. To assist with processing and engaging in the content, Cherry Steinwender will lead the community in dialogue.

Cherry Steinwender is Executive Director and co-founder of the Center for the Healing of Racism. Mrs. Steinwender co-authored Dialogue: Racism, a seminar that examines the history and sociological phenomenon of racism in the United States. She is the author of Bread is A Simple Food, Teaching Children About Cultures.
