Mindful Origami: November (In-Person)
Admission
- $28.00
Summary
Saturday, Nov 9
1:30 - 3:30pm CT
Be both creative and mindful as we create something beautiful from origami paper.
Description
Be both creative and mindful as we create something beautiful from origami paper. Origami technique requires precise attention and patience, but as we repeat the same folds over and over again, the process becomes easier, less stressful, and even soothing. Choose which paper feels right for you and, after much folding, you will leave calmer, and with your own piece of art!
Rie Kojima Angeli (LPC) is a staff clinician at the MendCenter in the Heights. Rie likes to incorporate art and music in therapeutic treatment and explore how art, such as origami, and music, both playing and listening, can promote the healing and wellness of speaking beings.
This program is being offered IN-PERSON only, and will NOT be recorded.
All times are CT. Please contact onlinelearning@junghouston.org with any questions.
Please register early. Programs with four or fewer participants are subject to cancellation, 48 hours prior to their start.
