Join Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche and Ligmincha Texas, and explore two new books from the Ligmincha community! Rinpoche's recent book of poetry, The Melody of Spiritual Songs Soars through the World Along the Path of Light, has only been published in Tibetan, but he will join us to share this poetry in English for the first time. Through Rinpoche's personal experience, these beautiful poems teach us of the nature of life, and of spiritual practice. Then, Jackie Cole and Harvey Rice will present their new book, Flight of the Bön Monks, which chronicles the thrilling true story of the Bön Bhuddist tradition's highest teachers and their escape from the militaristic occupation of Tibet in the 1950s. Jackie and Harvey will sign copies of their book, which will be available for purchase.

Founder and spiritual director of Ligmincha International, Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche is a respected and beloved teacher and meditation master in the Bön Buddhist tradition of Tibet. He has students in more than 25 countries, teaches around the world and reaches thousands of students through his online programs. Trained as a Bön monk, Rinpoche now lives as a householder, allowing him to more fully relate to the needs and concerns of his students. Known for the depth of his wisdom and his unshakeable commitment to helping students recognize their true nature, he is the author of many books and online courses.

Jackie Cole has studied Bön for over two decades and is fortunate to have contacts in the worldwide Bön community that assisted in research for the book. Harvey Rice is a journalist with more than 40 years experience, including 18 years at the Houston Chronicle. The husband-and-wife team live in Galveston, Texas.
