Saturday, Mar 16
12:30 - 4pm CT

Through simple, gentle movement sequences, we will explore ways to reach out more simply and easily, and maybe even leave being able to reach a bit farther.

Description

Extending our arms is an important part of everyday functioning. Reaching high to grab something, reaching out for a hug, reaching down to pick up a bag. These all seem like simple, everyday movements – until they’re not. Through simple, gentle movement sequences, we will explore ways to reach out more simply and easily, and maybe even leave being able to reach a bit farther. No previous experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing, and be willing to lie on the floor.

This program is being offered IN-PERSON, and will NOT be recorded.

All times are CT. Please contact onlinelearning@junghouston.org with any questions.

Please register early. Programs with four or fewer participants are subject to cancellation, 48 hours prior to their start.
