In this hands-on experience, our wisdom and creativity will guide us in creating our own tea blends, which we'll use as a unique and soothing focus for our meditation.

Description

Join us for an evening of tea tasting and guided meditation. The practice of drinking tea can be an intentional and deeply contemplative pause in our day, as it gives us an opportunity to cool down – both mentally and emotionally.  Learn to integrate a calm and aware state of mind into our daily routine with simple techniques from Tibetan Yoga, sample a few pre-made teas, and then let Rubina Ali and Neelam Damani of Roots in Harmony introduce you to the Ayurvedic art of selecting and blending herbs and spices. In this hands-on experience, our wisdom and creativity will guide us in creating our own tea blends, which we'll use as a unique and soothing focus for our meditation.

This program is being offered IN-PERSON, and will NOT be recorded.

All times are CT. Please contact onlinelearning@junghouston.org with any questions.
