Description

Ayurveda is the traditional medicine of the ancient culture of India. Though steeped in tradition, Ayurveda is equally applicable to modern life, showing a way to navigate its many changes with optimal health and happiness. Learn the fundamentals of Ayurveda in this cooking class and lesson, and get equipped with lifestyle practices and dietary tips to improve health, digestion, and overall well-being. You will come to understand your Ayurvedic body type (or dosha) and discover a cooking style tailored to you through the balancing of spices and synergistic food combinations. Find your natural balance through tools that empower you to know yourself and what is best for you.


This program is being offered IN-PERSON, and will NOT be recorded.

Karuna Diedericks is an expert in Ayurvedic nutrition, combining her extensive experience as a plant-based chef with her training as an Ayurvedic practitioner at the California College of Ayurveda. She has practiced yoga and studied Vedic literature and Ayurveda for over two decades. Karuna uses Ayurveda to offer valuable, time-tested solutions to health challenges.
