Explore how attuning to the cycles of the sun and the moon, the seasons, and the phases of our lives can support holistic health and spiritual growth.

Description

Explore how attuning to the cycles of the sun and the moon, the seasons, and the phases of our lives can support holistic health and spiritual growth. The teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda, along with those from ancient traditions around the world, provide a blueprint for cyclical living led by the wisdom in nature. Embark on a rhythmic journey through these teachings with movement, lecture, mantra, and song, and leave with a simple guide enabling you to discover your own unique style of synchronizing with rhythms from both the inner and outer worlds.

This program is being offered IN-PERSON, and will NOT be recorded.

All times are CT. Please contact onlinelearning@junghouston.org with any questions.

Please register early. Programs with four or fewer participants are subject to cancellation, 48 hours prior to their start.

Sarah Kline has studied and practiced yoga for 22 years. She is currently studying Sanskrit, mantra, and meditation with her teacher, Manorama D'Alvia, and participates in ongoing Vedic studies (Ayurveda, Jyotisha, etc.). Debbie Mills, Christina Sell, Gioconda Parker, and Sarah Montross have influenced her teaching. Sarah's previous career in petroleum engineering, her travels to India, and her five children provide her a wealth of life experience, which she weaves into her yogic teachings with humor.
