Description

Many people participate in programs that cleanse the body and eliminate toxins that have accumulated over one’s life. "Detoxing" has become a mainstream concept, familiar to many seeking wellness. While many of us strive to tend to our physical well being, we might forget that we need to detoxify our minds, too. By befriending our mind, we can learn to wipe the slate clean, detoxify our negative thought patterns, and calm the body. Join long-time meditator Andrew Vidich, PhD, and learn how to implement a simple yet very powerful meditation technique that can help manage and reduce the negative impact that our very stressful world has on our lives.

Andrew Vidich, PhD, is an, educator, international speaker, and author/editor of more than five books. Dr. Vidich has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Religion at Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY and at Iona College in New Rochelle where he taught courses in the nature and experience of religion, meditation, death and dying, and Islamic studies.  Dr. Vidich lectures and presents workshops at conferences, on radio and TV shows, and at colleges and book stores throughout the world on a variety of topics.  He is the co-founder of The Interfaith Council of New York and member of World Parliament of Religions Task Force on War, Violence and Hate Speech.  He has been studying meditation for 48 years under the guidance of three world renowned meditation teachers.
