We heard you ask for more opportunities to serve, so this program was created to give you the chance to give back and connect with others in meaningful ways.

Volunteers are essential to our growing community because you are the hands and the voice of the people. In this role, you have the opportunity to impact people’s lives. We hope that you will be able to explore with us and grow with us. By filling out this application, you are taking the first step in your volunteer journey.

Here are the available roles for volunteers:

• Front Desk Greeter - You are the first face guests see and you can provide a welcoming and informative experience for visitors. 

• Art Gallery - You support artists and visitors during installations/deinstallations, Art Openings, and Artist Talks. This is a great role for art enthusiasts and fans who want a more immersive experience with our Gallery

• Library/Bookstore - In this specialized role, you will serve our curious community by supporting their search of our Library and bookstore collections. You may also find yourself entertaining a few interesting conversations with visitors.

• In-Person Event Support - You will support our staff and instructors during in-person events through classroom preparation, checking-in guests, and refilling supplies as needed. For this role, you are encouraged to attend the class you are supporting for free!

• Special Events - You will support our staff and guests set up and execute special events such as Annual Benefit, Conferences, etc.

• Office Clerk/Archivist - In this specialized role, you will support our Administrative Team by digitally preserving our archives and by assisting with other clerical tasks.

• Outreach/Community Pop-Ups - This role is for you if you are interested in connecting folks in your community with The Jung Center.

• Mentorship and Tutoring - You will be a trained volunteer connecting with newer folks in our community to offer insight and wisdom as they navigate.

• Discussion/Affinity Groups - As a member and trained volunteer, you can host discussion groups after certain programs or affinity groups based on topical interests.

• Social Media - You will support our communications and marketing team as they create engaging content.

• Other - Please share any other areas of interest, skills, or expertise you may want to share with our community. We want to hear from you!

All new volunteers are required to:

1. Complete a Volunteer Application.

2. Interview with a department Manager.

3. Complete orientation and training in your area(s) of interest.
