Summary

Michael Lewis | Wednesday, Mar 18 | 12 - 1p CT | Create an ethical will to share your life lessons, values, and wisdom, preserving your legacy for future generations.

Description

An ethical will reflects the belief that the wisdom gained throughout a lifetime is as valuable a legacy as material wealth. This centuries-old tradition invites reflection on one’s life lessons, values, and experiences to share with future generations. Michael S. Lewis, M.D., offers insights into this meaningful practice, particularly relevant in the second half of life. Consider questions such as: What family values shaped you? Which decisions bring pride or regret? How did you face adversity, luck, or mentorship? What lessons emerged from relationships, parenting, or spirituality that you wish to pass on to those who follow?

Michael S. Lewis, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon and former consultant to the Chicago Bulls, earning two championship rings. A past chief of staff at Endeavor Skokie Hospital and recipient of Rush University Medical School’s Best Teacher Award, he is also an acclaimed author of seven books. Dr. Lewis’s photography has appeared in numerous publications, and he has lectured widely across the United States and abroad, combining his expertise in medicine, education, and the arts throughout his distinguished career.
