Explore Jungian archetypes, compassionate inquiry, and methods for confronting the shadow and untangling projections applicable in both clinical practice and everyday life.

Description

Through the tale of 'Vasalisa the Brave' Jack reardon and I will highlight the importance of compassionate enquiry, fostering curiosity, and cultivating a relationship with the unconscious. The theoretical perspectives and interpretations found through this tale can also be used as a metaphor to explore the tasks needed to untangle ourselves from psychological conflicts; so this work is not only applicable within clinical practice, but also in general life.
In this seminar, we will address compassionate inquiry, archetypes, confronting the shadow, untangling projections.
The Jungian psychological theory and storytelling that we discuss will be grounded with clinical concepts and applications from our peer-supervision sessions.
