Summary

Tiffany Heng-Hui Lee | Saturday, Sep 20 | 2 - 4p CT | 15 Max Attendees | Join us for a creative presentation and hands-on workshop in which we explore the interconnectedness of the five Chinese elements and their role in maintaining personal and ecological balance, through the practice of abstract paper collage art.

Description

"Elements Connected" focuses on the relationship between the five elements and our ecosystem. This event increases awareness about climate change and encourages action to protect our fragile environment. The five Chinese elements (fire, earth, water, metal and wood) will be discussed in a presentation using abstract collages to explain how the elements are connected to nature. A workshop will immediately follow the presentation that allows participants to create abstract paper collages based upon the five elements.  This will serve as a communication focal point to raise awareness about climate change and inspire everyone to take action to protect our environment. No prior collage experience is necessary. Materials and supplies will be provided and are included in the cost of registration.
