Summary

Joyce Boatright | Four Thursdays, Sep 11 - Oct 2 | 5:15 - 7:15p CT | 12 max attendees | Navigate major life transitions with a 4-week guided writing workshop designed to help you process change, gain insight, and transform challenges into wisdom in an emotionally healthy way.

Description

Life is filled with change, yet most people dislike change and do their best to fight it. In this 4-week workshop, we will use writing to move through the changes brought about by major life transitions: death of a loved one, retirement, divorce, aging, illness, empty nest, financial changes… the list goes on. How do we survive these “life-quakes” that threaten our sanity? Embark on a writing journey that takes you through the stages of change so you can get to the other side in an emotionally healthy way. Though sharing is encouraged, it is never required.

Joyce Boatright, EdD, is a published writer of short memoir and essay, a popular teacher, and an entertaining storyteller. She has been teaching journaling and writing from life since 1991.
