*Canceled* Mindful Origami: Roses (In-Person)
Admission
- $28.00
Summary
Description
Be both creative and mindful as we create something beautiful from origami paper. Origami technique requires precise attention and patience, but as we repeat the same folds over and over again, the process becomes easier, less stressful, and even soothing. Using six rectangular sheets of paper, you will be making a rose. It is not a traditional way of doing origami, but it is something fun, easier, and pretty!
Rie Kojima Angeli is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a staff clinician at the MendCenter in the Heights. Rie incorporates the arts in therapeutic treatment and explores how origami and listening to and playing music can promote healing and wellness.
This program is being offered IN-PERSON only, and will NOT be recorded.
